Google’s Desktop Search engine result Are Now Continually Scrollable

Google is making desktop search engine result more like mobile with an upgrade that lets users endlessly scroll through numerous pages.

Constant scrolling is now presenting to desktop search results in the United States.

In an email to Online search engine Journal, Google describes how the SERPs will display approximately 6 pages of URLs prior to prompting users to click “more results”:

“… we’re bringing continuous scrolling to desktop so you can continue to see more useful search engine result with less clicks. It’s now even simpler to get inspired with more information at your fingertips.

Now, when you scroll down you’ll continue to find relevant outcomes so that you can discover originalities. When you reach the bottom of a search engine result page, up to six pages of outcomes will be instantly revealed until you see a “More results” button if you want to continue even more.”

As Google continues to fill the first page of search results with ads, featured bits, media, ‘individuals likewise ask’ boxes, and other features, this upgrade is a win for regular websites.

Giving searchers the ability to scroll through six pages at once increases their possibility of seeing more outcomes prior to striking an obstruction.

We do not anticipate this modification to impact reporting. Google kept in mind last year, upon updating mobile search results to constant scrolling, that there’s no difference in Search Console.

That’s because Search Console tracks SERP positions, not pages, Google describes:
